Sadly Tom Petty passed away on the 2nd of October 2017, a true icon of Rock and Roll who left this world a musically richer place. Having penned some of the most iconic songs in the history of modern music, songs that easily transcend generations of listeners. For us, there we was no question of what we wanted to do. We wanted to repay a debt to Tom and the Heartbreakers. It’s not a monetary debt, how can you put a value on the joy that Tom’s music gave us over the years?
To repay that debt, we thought that the best way for us to do that, was to do our small part and keep Tom’s music alive. We would get out there and play the iconic hits and classic album tracks for people who love Tom’s music and new listeners alike. Well, that’s exactly what we did. The five of us got together and learned a set, a set that is constantly growing! Now we are out there playing anywhere people want to hear Tom’s music.
