Since they began in January 2017, Tiderays have established themselves on both a local level, selling out their debut EP launch, and on the Scottish music scene as a whole. Taking influence from bands such as Frightened Rabbit, Fatherson, Idlewild and Bon Iver, the band have amalgamated these influences with their own personal musical backgrounds, ultimately creating a truly original Scottish indie/alternative rock sound.
Their ever-growing track record of gigs is one to be respected. After continuous live shows in their hometown of Dumfries, the four piece have begun to merge with the scenes in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle. They also excelled at putting on their own headline show in Scotland’s music capital with support from some of the best up and coming acts Glasgow has to offer.
